The internet is constantly evolving. It includes social media platforms and wireless connectivity in the latest cars. Mental health declines dramatically with increasing involvement of the younger generations in this relationship. Teen mental health is directly affected by the internet. Social media platforms often have unrealistic expectations. People post comments about others and share their stories. The internet is a powerful place for bullying, violence, emotional triggers, and other forms of abuse. It is easy to become addicted to the internet and lose empathy. This can lead you to developing psychological problems that will last your entire life.

Many attributes of the internet can lead to success in any field, whether it is education or work. The internet also has its flaws, which many people don’t like. It can shape our reality subconsciously, making it more appealing. Internet addiction can cause long-term psychological problems. This can lead to financial, academic, or relationship problems in their lives. Online backlash can lead to broken relationships, poor grades, and gambling or spending addictions. Akin and Iskender (138) found that Internet addiction also manifests in the form of anxiety, fear, cravings, depressions, hostility or substance experience. They can also cause withdrawals, impairment of decision-making, increased psychomotor agitation, anxiety, mood swings, preoccupation, loss of controls, loss of motivation, loss of control, withdrawals, reduced decision making ability, and continual online surfing. The internet has many negative effects, yet people continue to use it every day, despite the fact that they are so easy to access. These negative effects directly result from the way users view a website like Facebook. When Facebook is overused, your normal life can be disrupted. This could cause depression. Unrealistic expectations and comparing reaction numbers can also lead to low self-esteem. The internet has made it more difficult to communicate and interact with younger generations. These traits are accepted as normal in our society today, and make it impossible to improve on the websites that currently dominate our generation. Social media platforms have a lot to do with marketing schemes, scrolls and like counts. Many people scroll aimlessly or refresh their feeds to find new information. They don’t realize how much time they are losing by becoming involved with the internet’s reach. Our lives are dependent on the phone. Notifications can be a source for excitement for a younger audience. Not only is internet addiction a common problem, but so are we all part in the ultimate business plan to destroy reality. It is less likely that anxiety and depression will decrease if internet usage was controlled correctly. However, the internet’s reliability, consistency, results and ease of use make it unlikely that we will ever experience depression or anxiety. As the internet becomes more prevalent, it will only make our virtual world even more complicated. The internet’s dominance will have a web impact on how we communicate. This is also a direct correlation with empathy. There is much love in this world, but there is a significant decline in empathy among the younger generations. Face-toface communication is being replaced by online communication. It makes it harder for people to pay attention to tone, read body language, and learn the social skills they need to have a reliable and healthy conversation. Online environments can be a breeding ground for assumptions, ignorance, and “seeing only what we want”. Our society is being manipulated to make a false pretense. We give in to the platform, regardless of the effects. Internet trolling is the term for people who use the internet to cause problems. Dark humor is quite common. People will post their opinions on every platform. This can cause divisions in society. Online, a lack of polite and common behavior can lead to serious problems. Online bullying, criticism, and other harmful conversations can be facilitated by young adults who have attitudes that are not typical of their age. These traits can lead to mental illness, suicide, or even acts violence. Many young adults have suffered emotional distress or been the victims of online abuse. These outcomes are directly related to the absence of empathy around internet communication. 1000 young adults completed an online survey. This was done to determine the link between the internet’s impact on empathy. The survey was taken on young adults. This shows that their lack of empathy and mental problems has resulted from the internet being prominent in their childhood. Unfortunately, this has also led to many negative outcomes and actions that internet users can’t undo. It continues to be a problem for many people, despite the numerous negative effects of poor online communication. This lack of empathy is a symptom of internet addiction. Because it feeds on human normal values, it can also lead to an increase in internet addiction. This curse could be reversed if internet usage is reduced and social interaction increased. The internet is engulfing our every move and causing psychological havoc. Although it is not clear what the future will bring, we need to ensure that our reality provides a healthy environment. The internet’s impact on mental health is crucial. The many domains that can be accessed online can cause mental problems, such as anxiety, depression, stress, focus issues, and stress. Failure to communicate face-to–face can create a false reality and cause a lack in empathy. This can lead people to become violent, bullied, or even kill themselves. These two facts show that the internet can have a significant impact on the mental health of younger people. Although regulation is important to prevent the spread of false reality, it is impossible to free yourself from the web’s grip. While many people are able to achieve great success online, it can also cause problems for many generations.
